Architecture
Every voice second flows through a durable pipeline at the edge. Real time.
The pipeline
The bot joins your voice channel and listens to every speaker separately.
Audio is encrypted and uploaded as it streams. Nothing stays on the bot.
When the meeting ends, the work is queued so a crash never costs your notes.
Speech turns into text fast and in parallel. Long meetings finish almost as quickly as short ones.
An AI distills the transcript into a clean summary with decisions, action items, and key moments.
Notes land in your Discord channel and any webhooks you wire up. The raw audio is then cleaned up.
Wiring it into your own tools? See the webhooks and public API docs.
Privacy
Audio is encrypted at rest and scoped to your server. Nothing leaks between servers.
Notes are encrypted in transit and at rest.
Empty meetings are destroyed right away. They don’t cost you a quota slot and they leave no trace.
Full-meeting recordings are off by default. Turn them on in Settings when you want them.

Uptime
Notes survive a crash. If something fails mid-job, the work is retried automatically and your transcript still lands.
Webhooks retry five times if your server is unreachable, signed the same way every time.
With multi-channel recording (included in Pro+), assistant bots step in when the main bot is already in another call. Same transcripts, no waiting.
The whole pipeline runs at Cloudflare’s edge, so the round trip from your server to ours stays short wherever your users are.
About the Team
DiscMeet is built and operated by Siddarth Sam as a sole proprietor.
“I’ve built ERP, SaaS and micro-SaaS apps across six years in food and fragrance, Shopify apps, and fintech. I built DiscMeet as a tool to recap my own meetings. It quickly became a popular way for teams, content creators, and gamers on Discord to recap their meetings natively.”
