Commands Overview

DiscMeet exposes a single top-level slash command: /discmeet, with these subcommands:

Voice & Transcription

CommandDescription
/discmeet joinConnect the bot to your current voice channel
/discmeet startBegin transcribing the voice channel
/discmeet stopStop transcribing and end the meeting
/discmeet retryResend transcription after fixing permissions or channel issues
/discmeet statusCheck bot and session status
CommandDescription
/discmeet consentAdd or remove yourself from the manual transcription consent list (only when consent opt-in is enabled for the server)

Server owners and admins configure consent opt-in, consent roles, and review lists in the Settings tab on the dashboard . See Consent opt-in.

Setup & Management

CommandDescription
/discmeet setupSet up the transcription bot for this server (language, default notes channel, roles, privacy)
/discmeet helpShow help and available commands

Voice channel mappings and custom prompts (add-on) are configured in the browser from the dashboard . They are no longer separate slash commands in Discord.

Billing & plans

CommandDescription
/discmeet manageShortcut in Discord to open billing and server tools in the browser (same as signing in at discmeet.com/dashboard  for plans, add-ons, transcripts, D&D tools including bulk import, settings, and Integrations / Webhooks)

D&D Features

CommandDescription
/discmeet campaignsManage your D&D campaigns
/discmeet charactersManage your D&D characters

Bulk import characters, bulk delete (with filters), and other at-scale D&D work happen on the dashboard . In Discord, campaigns and characters are managed through the commands above.

Context menu: Edit Note

Right-click on a message sent by DiscMeet and select Edit Note to edit the note content. This only works on DiscMeet messages inside threads created by DiscMeet.

Permission requirements

Most commands require Manage Channels permission or server ownership. See Required permissions and Who can start meetings for details.

About /discmeet retry

If a transcription was processed but couldn’t be posted (e.g. due to permission issues or a deleted channel), run /discmeet retry after fixing the problem. It resends the most recent meeting or D&D session transcript from the last 24 hours to your server.

Browser settings (dashboard )

For anything that used to live in Discord-only flows—upgrades, multi-channel add-on, per–voice-channel routing, custom prompts—use the dashboard  (or /discmeet manage in Discord as a shortcut). The same place has D&D tools such as bulk import characters and bulk delete. Overview: Getting started § Billing and browser settings.
