D&D Sessions
D&D sessions are recorded separately from regular meetings. Transcripts go to the campaign channel, not the default transcription channel.
Start a D&D session
- Be in a voice channel
- Use the D&D Session button (or the equivalent flow from the bot)
- Select the campaign for this session
- Enter a session name
- Start recording
The session is recorded and transcribed. When you stop, the transcript is posted to the campaign’s channel.

Plan access required
D&D sessions are plan-based. If your current plan does not include D&D access:
Cannot start D&D session. Your current plan does not include D&D access. Open discmeet.com/dashboard to manage your plan
Check your plan details with /discmeet status under D&D Features:
- Can Start Session — Whether D&D sessions are available on your plan
- Total Sessions / Session Limit — Current D&D usage and limits
Campaign channel must exist
Before starting a session, ensure the campaign has a valid channel. If the channel was deleted:
The channel for Campaign Name no longer exists. Please edit the campaign using
/discmeet campaignsto set a new channel before starting a session.
Processing time
After you stop, the transcript is processed and posted. Processing can take up to a few minutes. You’ll get a notification when it’s ready.
