Custom prompt

A custom prompt is extra instructions for the AI that writes your meeting notes: what to focus on, how to lay them out, what to always include. It is free on every plan.

Set it up

1. Open the dashboard  and select your server.
2. Go to Settings → Transcription.
3. Write your instructions under Meeting prompt and save.

For example:

Bias toward action items. Group decisions under a "Decisions" heading. Always include attendees at the top.

It applies to recordings that finish after you save. To apply it to an older recording, regenerate its notes from the dashboard (once per recording).

Meetings and RPG sessions

The meeting prompt applies to regular meetings. RPG sessions use each campaign’s own custom notes prompt instead, set on the campaign (see Edit a campaign).

If Transcription only is on, no notes are written, so the prompt isn’t used.
