MP3 recording

MP3 recording builds a single audio file of the whole recording, so you can listen back or keep a copy. It is available on paid plans and is off by default.

Turn it on

1. Open the dashboard  and select your server.
2. Go to Settings → Audio.
3. Turn on MP3 recording and save.

Where the file shows up

• In Discord, a link to the recording is posted in the recording’s notes thread once the file is ready.
• In the dashboard, you can play it from the recording.
• In integrations, the audio.ready webhook fires and the API includes the audio link.

MP3 files are deleted after 7 days, so download any you want to keep.

When it’s off

DiscMeet still transcribes every recording and writes notes as usual. It just doesn’t build the MP3, so there’s no recording link and no audio.ready webhook for new recordings.
